Oxfordshire Artweeks 2022!

This year I am having a bit of a change and will be

taking part in Oxfordshire Artweeks for their 40th anniversary event!

I've taken part 5-6 times in the past 20+ years in various locations across Oxfordshire though in recent years I have been involved in Bucks Art Weeks.

I won't be exhibiting at my studio but have been offered the opportunity to exhibit in a stunning location of a large treehouse in the grounds of a property on the edge of Shotover Country Park in Oxford! A spacious airy venue in the trees, currently surrounded by bluebells!

I will be open to visitors at SITE 107

Please note: There is no on-site parking so visitors arriving by car need to use Shotover Country Park car park and follow the signs to the venue on foot. At the gate you will need to call me on 07967 014085 (all info will be on the gate)

The venue is wheelchair accessible and DISABLED PARKING is available on-site for anyone with limited mobility. Please contact me in advance to arrange or follow signs at the venue entrance.

I am also part of the Headington Trail Map so there are lots of other wonderful artists showing close by!

Open Days and Bucks Art Weeks 2021

I am thrilled to finally be opening my studio door to visitors after so long!

And as I've been busy working away all through the last year I have lots of new work to show you!

Here at Turville Studios we have recommenced our

First Sunday of the Month and Bank Holiday Monday Open Days

So I will next be in my studio to welcome visitors on

Monday 31st May and Sun 6th June 11am - 4pm

Then we head straight into Bucks Art Weeks - a real life event this year!

As a group we are Site 13 and I also have my own individual entry as Site 220

We are open on 10 days over the two week event and would love to see you!

At all other times I am only open by prior appointment - so if you'd prefer to visit at a different time just get in touch.

Obviously in the current times numbers inside my studio will be limited and you are also required to wear a face mask. Please also use the hand sanitiser provided - essential if you are likely to touch cards etc.

Development of a Painting

Realising I'd taken some good progress shots of my latest painting 'A Bowl of Cherries' I've expanded my Photoshop skills hugely this morning and created an animated gif to show how my paintings are developed! Needs to be a bit smoother, and I should've put it as a loop, but not bad for a fist try!
