'Bluebirds and Blackbird Egg' is an original still life oil painting of a three stems of bluebells in a vintage fish paste jar with a found half Blackbird egg shell. English Bluebells are some of my favourite flowers, and the sight of woodlands carpeted by them in the Spring is a joy to see! Blackbirds are one of my favourite garden birds too, so one of their egg shells is the perfect companion to the bluebells. 
It is painted in oils on canvas board and it is framed in a contemporary white painted wooden frame.
