A not-so-still still life! Sometimes I enjoy playing with objects in space rather than sitting on a defined surface which is how the idea for this painting came about. I was having fun with the idea of endless cups of tea, or Char, and, as the cups look like they are dancing, that gave rise to the title! 
It is painted in oils on a deep sided canvas, which is unframed 2013
