'Still Life Painting'' is an original oil painting, one of my latest series of works using collections of books with associated objects. The books in this painting are all firm favourites, featuring artists I have been inspired by, and I placed the classic still life subject of a bowl of fruit on top, with the added reflection of myself at work in the studio creating the still life painting.
It is painted in oils on canvas board and it is framed in a contemporary white painted wooden frame.
