'Sun Catcher' is an original still life oil painting which came about just after finishing another painting of white hellebore flowers. One of the flowers outlasted the others so I popped it into a vintage bottle on its own intending to paint it in a soft light. But the afternoon sun flooded into the studio just catching the flower and bottle and asking to be painted in that way! 
It is painted in oils on board, framed in a wooden frame painted pale grey with a white inner edge
