I am thrilled to finally be opening my studio door to visitors after so long!

And as I've been busy working away all through the last year I have lots of new work to show you!

Here at Turville Studios we have recommenced our

First Sunday of the Month and Bank Holiday Monday Open Days

So I will next be in my studio to welcome visitors on

Monday 31st May and Sun 6th June 11am - 4pm

N.B. As not all artists will be be here on those days it's always worth checking with us individually if you are making a special journey - see our studios website HOME | Turville Studios

Then we head straight into Bucks Art Weeks - a real life event this year!

Five of the artists at Turville Studios are taking part this year

See Bucks Art Weeks | Bucks Art Weeks

As a group we are Site 13 and I also have my own individual entry as Site 220

We are open on 10 days over the two week event and would love to see you!

At all other times I am only open by prior appointment - so if you'd prefer to visit at a different time just get in touch.

Obviously in the current times numbers inside my studio will be limited and you are also required to wear a face mask. Please also use the hand sanitiser provided - essential if you are likely to touch cards etc.

Realising I'd taken some good progress shots of my latest painting 'A Bowl of Cherries' I've expanded my Photoshop skills hugely this morning and created an animated gif to show how my paintings are developed! Needs to be a bit smoother, and I should've put it as a loop, but not bad for a fist try!

I'd like to thank everyone for your kind support over the last few months.

Lockdown and not being able to use my studio felt very scary at first but I took a collection of art materials home and began creating small works as couldn't bear the thought of not painting!

I then put my toe in the water of selling my work online as part of the Artist Support Pledge, which was an amazing boost - heartfelt thanks to everyone who liked, commented and purchased my work <3 Another wonderful initiative was Portraits for NHS Heroes - again I dipped my toe in the water and have painted a collection of truly wonderful, dedicated people and re-discovered my confidence and love of portrait painting!

I am now thoroughly enjoying being back working in my studio every day.

We have really missed seeing people at the studios and are now Open but By Appointment Only

I can only have one person in at a time (or a max of two from the same household) and use of hand sanitiser is essential (which will be provided). We also have plenty of space outside the front of the studios for a chat in the fresh air.

I am continuing to build my online shop and if you see anything of interest there, or on the rest of my site, feel free to get in touch to arrange an appointment for a totally no obligation viewing
